After a short break to brace ourselves for regular deliveries, Super Commander #4 took to the skies last Friday. She is N948PW, formerly a 114TC, and has shed 40 lbs in gaining her IO-580. She seems to like it!

8PW is a TKS bird with built-in O2 but no air. There won't be any before and after numbers on this one since I never got to fly her old engine, but she seemed real happy to have her new 580 pull her around CGI for an hour at 180 kts at 3500'.

On Saturday, I blasted home to BTV in 5 hours including various diversions due to a VFR ferry permit. For safety I tanked up in Ashtabula but clearly CGI > BTV can be flown non-stop in "Super 8" given favorable conditions.
