Hats off to Chris Harborne who has demonstrated Super Commander endurance of 6 hours 30 minutes with a non-stop flight from SAV to BTV in 948PW. Chris reports climbing directly to 13,000 and cruising there for the entire flight at 18", 2200 and 11.4 GPH, landing in Burlington with 16 gallons remaining, thus imputing a theoretical endurance of EIGHT hours! PW's engine is well temperature balanced but NOT GAMI'd and Chris says he was operating right at peak with EGT's in the 1400's.
His TOW out of SAV was approx 3150 lbs.
Chris is optimistic that with some additional tweaking and in standard conditions, the Super Commander will be proven to have a range of over 1000 miles!
