Thanks everyone for you comments on this.

Its the engineer in me that wants to understand what going on. But now I know, I will go back to cycling tanks. Its a shame really because I liked the idea of being able to select both and forget it.

Since I first wrote this I have found a few more threads that also say don't leave "BOTH" selected when parked so that's something else I have learnt. Probably saved my membership costs already on not wasting fuel. Great group, thanks again guys.
