Center Tail Fairing Sven Faret sfaret faret@optonline.net I 'e had in the hangar for 3 years the new Tail fairing from Globe. It looked close on all measurements and "should have fit".
As Brad mentioned, the problems come into the trimming.
I found the fiberglass strips Globe used to attach the inner box to the outer box had too much build-up not allowing the whole section to sit in place. As soon as I discovered this I was able to peel off those strips disconnecting the inner from outer and it fit very well after that. Now to reattach it all in the proper perspective.

During this whole operation I vented choice words for Globe.
If they had just a LITTLE QC in their products this would not have happened. In the outer piece there is a step for the inner to sit, however if it get's schloped together with too much material, it's screwed.

One would think that that it would have fit better than that?
